Account verification and authentication are conducted through Kinde, an authentication services provider. Additionally, you have the option to connect your data sources such as Notion, Guru, ClickUp, and Confluence. We integrate with these platforms using OAuth 2.0 to fetch relevant documents for course creation purposes.

You can connect or disconnect your data sources (e.g., Notion, Guru, ClickUp, Confluence) at any time through the CoTeach.io application. To request the deletion of all your data from our platform, please contact us at privacy@coteach.io.

Security of Your Personal Information

We are committed to protecting the information you provide us. We use MongoDB Atlas managed services for data protection. To prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the appropriate use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical and managerial procedures to safeguard the information we collect.

Security and Compliance

We take data security seriously at CoTeach and follow best practices to ensure user data is protected:

• Data Encryption: All user data is encrypted both at rest and in transit. We rely on industry-standard encryption protocols and infrastructure provided by trusted cloud service providers.

• Access Controls: Only authorized personnel (currently limited to core technical team members) have access to user data, and access is tightly controlled and monitored.

• Compliance Journey: We are currently in the process of becoming SOC 2 compliant and follow SOC 2-aligned security practices across the product and infrastructure layers.

  
  

We're always happy to work with your internal IT or security teams and are open to completing security questionnaires or providing technical documentation on request.

How Long We Keep Your Personal Information

We keep your personal information only for as long as we need to. This time period may depend on what we are using your information for, in accordance with this privacy policy. If your personal information is no longer required, we will delete it or make it anonymous by removing all details that identify you.

We do not aim any of our products or services directly at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information about children under 13.
